Irish Origins Research Agency was established in 1985. Máire is related to the well known poet, Professor of Irish Language, Dr. Brian O’Looney, Literature and Archaeology in University College Cork during the 19th Century. She is justly considered the family historian of her extended family and has pursued her deep interest in family history all her adult life.
